By using Ekiben you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
The app
Ekiben helps you learn and use travel Japanese. Phrases, translations and AI replies are provided for learning and convenience. We work hard to make them accurate, but we can't guarantee they are error-free. For allergies, medical needs and emergencies, always confirm with staff and contact local emergency services (110 police, 119 ambulance/fire) when needed.
Ekiben Pass
- Annual is an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of a free trial, if one is offered). It renews automatically at the same price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Trip Pass is a non-renewing subscription that unlocks the Pass for 60 days and does not renew automatically. Buying another Trip Pass extends your access by 60 days from the end of the current one.
- Lifetime is a one-time purchase that unlocks the Pass permanently.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple. Use "Restore Purchases" in the app to restore access on a new device.
- A purchase can be used on up to 5 devices.
AI Talk
AI Talk replies are generated automatically and may be imperfect. Free users get one trial conversation; Pass holders get a daily allowance that may change. Don't use AI Talk to send harmful or abusive content or personal information. We may limit or suspend AI Talk to prevent abuse or when the service is busy.
Acceptable use
Don't reverse engineer, overload or abuse our servers, or use the app in violation of the law.
Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
